FAQ
I begin by asking God one question. Then I enter into a time with my Father. I do not have a picture or model that I am trying to replicate. It starts with a blank canvas and a prayer. While painting, I am unable to 'see' what I am painting. I am simply in fellowship with my Abba and receiving from Him. It is not until I clean my paint brushes that I am able to 'see' and answer to my prayer.
Some have a deeper meaning to me than others. "Promise of Peace"-This is one of the most signifant pieces for me. It was during a very intese storm in my life and this was a promise given to me from the Lord that the storm would pass and there would be this calm and beautiful place of rest.
Most of the ocean scenes were painted during this storm. Even though I am afraid of the ocean, these are the ones that I treasure. Flowers-I call the women I work with in Thailand "my flowers". Everytime I would pray for them, I painted a variety of different flowers.
